Stop Barking Now
Let’s face it, all dogs have different personalities just like humans. I have three dogs with very different personalities. To me, they are just like children and one disciplinary method will not work for all three across the board. I love all my dogs and they are all very sweet, kind, adorable animals, and then there was my old Labardor Hershey that developed a barking problem when he got elderly. Don’t know if it was senility or just he was at the age where he was going to do what he wanted to do, but the neighbors obviously didn’t like his new “talent. I didn’t know what I could do to make him stop barking now while I still had friends in the neighborhood.
After receiving a summonse on my door one night, the next morning, I loaded ol’ Hersh, up in my Land Cruiser and off to the Pet Store we went. I went right in to the pet store, asked the manager what to do and they showed me a citronella spray collar. I knew Hershey, and I knew this collar wasn’t going to work, but off we went home to embark on our stop barking now training.
I am not going to bore you with all the details or hype, but I promise you if you have a dog, even the most hard headed dog, as soon as you put him out in the yard or in your home, if that’s where he barks, that this collar works instantly. Hershey went on to live a happy life and mine was much more quiet and enjoyable as well. My neighbors still talk to me, which sometimes I feel like strapping one of these wonderful devices on them.
