To qualify to become a Reiki Master, you need to undergo a very difficult training process which is the highest level of Reiki training. Usually, the process takes weeks or months and may entail certain strict observances. However, there are easier options these days that involve taking up aReiki Master training online. Online courses sometimes can take only a matter of a few days. I personally recommend doing it the hard way simply because you become more competent after undergoing a more demanding course. The Reiki Master training necessitates that you already practice Reiki for yourself. To do so, you should have already undergone the first few levels of Reikitraining. You know how to channel Reiki energy for self healing and personal integration. You understand what chakras are and how to energize them using Reiki symbols and other means. You have a sense of stability, focus, peace and pleasure in all that you do. You also know how to communicate effectively with others and how to respond when other people mistreat you. When you fall sick, you are able to use Reiki to enhance the flow of energy within your own body and thus bring healing to yourself. And you would be able to do the same for other people, too. If you choose to enroll into a Reiki school for your Reiki Master training, select one that suits your circumstances and means. Some schools make you an apprentice first before allowing you to enter theReiki Master training . Some schools have their own stay-in facilities and they may require you board with them. There may be other requirements such as a detoxification of your body and denying yourself certain activities like watching television and certain rich foods for the duration of yourtraining. These practices actually enhancing your training experience and increase the level of Reiki energy in you.
Besides the differences in duration, the cost of Reiki Master training also varies from school to school. Some may charge about $500 whereas others charge up to $10,000. Reiki
If you choose to take up an online Reiki Master course, you may not have the advantages of following live teaching classes or personal attunement by a Reiki Master. But online courses are generally more affordable and shorter in length. Some can cost as low as $120 and take only 48 hours to complete.
