Drugs usually give off negative effects when any person uses it. However when teens start getting involved it becomes alarming on how critical the situation is. Some of the illicit drug use in 2003
# 8th grade — 30.3%
# 10th grade — 44.9%
# 12th grade — 52.8%
Although drug % is high, alcohol is even higher and 5x more teens die from drink alcohol through accidents. At least 50% of the teenagers admitted being drinking and 32% being drunk in one occasion.
