Getting Started Flying Model RC Airplanes
Flying model rc airplanes is a dream for most, some of us had this pleasure as a kid, but some of us are only getting to this fantastic hobby as adults. No matter at what age you are learning to fly, here are some successful tips that will help you to be successful and ensure that you enjoy your experience. Keep in mind that you will only get the experience you want if you are willing to follow some simple guidelines. You may not look the coolest with your beginner plane but you are learning.
The first and best piece of advice anyone can give you is to start with beginner model rc airplanes. Also known as a trainer. If you go straight for the fastest, coolest plane you see, you will be disappointed because it will be difficult to fly, hard to control and you won’t be very happy the first time you lose control and possibly crash. Your training aircraft should be RTF which means ready to fly, an electric, battery powered model and have a basic RC transmitter. This is a good place to start. Anything more than that would be frustrating and overwhelming.
