Fasting diet: Is fasting the easiest way to diet?

Fasting has always been part of our natural eating cycle, so why is it that fasting diets and particularly intermittent fasting are gaining popularity as the most effective method of permanently losing those extra pounds or building a little extra muscle today?

If you read most current fitness and diet advice, you will come across the notion of small regular feedings as being the ideal way to stay in shape. The most obvious question here is that if this grazing method is really the best solution, why are we confronted with so much obesity?

Despite going against this trend, incorporating some sort of fast really does solve one or two major dieting problmes. Firstly, it puts your body in a fat-burning stae for most of the time EVERY DAY. Think about that for a moment. Secondly, and to the complete opposite of any other diet you care to mention, intermittent fasting allows you to eat until you are full during the daily eating “window”. This is actually crucial. Most people fall off the diet bandwagon simply because no one enjoys feeling hungry all the time.

Ultimately, using fasting as part of a healthy lifestyle and weight loss (or indeed, muscle gain), makes it possible to radically change your physique in a short timeframe and more importantly, to make these changes permanent.
