Child defiant behavior and parenting rebellious children are parents worst fear
Child defiant behavior has been a major topic discussed among parents and in homes these days. With such programs as the total transformation being introduced regularly in the news, online and on the radio. Families are more focused on work, economy and every other stressful condition and less on family and home life. Parenting rebellious children can be frustrating and stressful for those parents that are not involved or prepared.
Children can face such life factors as add, adhd, odd, depression and emotional problems which can contribute to rebellion and behavior problems. Parents need to get more involved in order to recognize these problems and their red flags.
Parents may not always have time or desire to talk to children about certain topics. Depression can be hard to recognize in children and may lead to many of their defiant and emotional behavior problems. Helping children with depression is not something that can be ignored or put off by parents because they feel it will blow over. Know the signs and symptoms of depression and be prepared to talk with your children about their fears, questions and concerns.
If I were to ask a set of parents what the acronyms add, adhd and odd stand for my guess would be that only a quarter of them are able to tell me. Many parents do not know the signs, symptoms, behaviors and treatment practices for these disorders. Knowledge is everything when parenting child behavior disorders.
