How can consumers who are proactive about their health avoid dangerous household toxins? Well, it all comes down to educating yourself so that you know the truth behind the deceptive marketing tactics product manufacturers use to make us think that our toiletries, cosmetics, and cleaning products are safe. Did you know that consumers have an absolute right to know the ingredients that chemical manufacturers use in their products? How can they avoid dangerous household toxins if they don’t know which ones are indeed dangerous?
Not a single cosmetic company warns consumers of the presence of carcinogens in its products - despite the fact that several common cosmetic ingredients or their contaminants are carcinogenic themselves. Regulation of the industry that produces our cleaning products, cosmetics, toiletries, etc, is so lame that it’s virtually non existent! You may be purchasing products that contain carcinogens, neurotoxins or other hazardous substances and not even know it!
