Are You Still Watching Cable TV?
If you’re still watching cable TV, you’re missing out on great TV that only satellite can offer. If you’ve never experienced satellite TV, you’re probably not even aware that the differences are indeed significant.
Digital Satellite TV – Is It Really Better Than Cable TV?
Satellite Dish Television Offers More Than Traditional Cable
I had the misfortune recently of having to watch cable TV while house-sitting for a friend. Not only was I extremely disappointed at the fuzzy picture quality, I couldn’t find my favorite shows in the program guide. Now, I do admit to watching a bit too much TV, but I’m sure I’m not alone. The thing is, though, I not only enjoy watching TV, I’ve really gotten spoiled by the variety of programming that my satellite television offers.
With my satellite TV, I get family-friendly viewing, lots of movie and music options, awesome specialty channels and sports even the biggest sports enthusiasts (like my husband) cheer for. But it wasn’t just the programming I missed. I had gotten so used to the additional features that are available with satellite TV that I just kinda take it for granted that everyone has them. Boy was I wrong! I was going to miss my favorite shows because my friend didn’t have DVR capabilities with her basic cable package. And then it hit me that it didn’t matter anyway because she couldn’t even get the channels or the programs that I wanted to watch and/or record. It took me a few dizzying minutes to hop off of that merry-go-round, but when I did, I decided that, for anyone who was still watching cable TV, I would certainly recommend satellite as an alternative. I can tell you from experience that I would never go back to watching basic cable again. And you won’t either!
